F&ED This Week

April 14, 2025

A male mallard duck stands on the shore of a creek that’s covered in flowering clover and backed by a pale brick wall. Another mallard paddles through the water which reflects them both. Both ducks have yellow beaks, dark green heads, brown chests, pale brown-grey wings with a deep blue stripe, black tails, pale grey undersides, and orange feet.

A pair of male mallard ducks visited the shores of Cottonwood Creek where it runs through the UT Dallas campus.
