These photos show the construction of what ultimately came to be known as Engineering & Computer Science West, but back in 2018 was just UT Dallas’ newest engineering building. This 200,000 sq.ft. LEED Gold certified facility is the home of UTD Mechanical Engineering. It is filled with features that expose the building’s inner workings, providing live examples of what students study in class.
