Trees are being added to the north end of our Pedestrian Promenade to create a shaded path through the heart of the University. The third phase of the Campus Landscape Enhancement Project, of which this is a part, is adding 1,220 trees of various species to UT Dallas, including Cedar Elm, Crape Myrtle, Mexican Sycamore, Mexican Plum, Bur Oak, Live Oak, Shumard Oak, Pecan, Pond Cypress and Red Bud.
