The northernmost section of our new Pedestrian Promenade, complete with newly-planted trees, extends towards the south end of campus. More sections are due to be completed later this year. The third phase of the Campus Landscape Enhancement Project, of which this is a part, is adding 1,220 trees of various species to UT Dallas, including Cedar Elm, Crape Myrtle, Mexican Sycamore, Mexican Plum, Bur Oak, Live Oak, Shumard Oak, Pecan, Pond Cypress and Red Bud.
