To the northeast of Northside at UT Dallas, near the new water tower, is the start of something wonderful: The UTD Eco Hub. Centered on a 20,000 square foot tract of high quality soil that resulted from years of University composting efforts on that very spot, the Eco Hub will be a place for students to learn and practice sustainability. Along with a micro-farm, the place will include an bee apiary, and food harvests will be donated to people in need. Learn More >
