Teams of construction workers rise to the fifth and third floors of the Texas Instruments Biomedical Engineering & Sciences Building, which is expected to open late this year. When completed, this new facility in the Dallas Medical District will house both UTD and UTSW [The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center] researchers, allowing them to better collaborate on turning cutting-edge medical technologies into clinical applications. With four floors of dedicated laboratory space, the building will also become a new home for the UT Dallas Fabrication and Biodesign Center.
