You’re not imagining it: Large sections of the new Edith and Peter O’Donnell Jr. Athenaeum will rise into the air on v-shaped supports. When completed, visitors will be able to walk under the shade of this facility’s galleries on their way to the entrance. This beautiful and unusual structure is just the first phase of what will be a UT Dallas arts and performance complex, a place to display and study the University’s growing art collection and act as a magnet for the arts in North Texas.
