Tracks are going into place for the new UT Dallas DART [Dallas Area Rapid Transit] Sliver Line station near Rutford Avenue / Cecil Drive. When completed, this 26-mile-long commuter rail line will run from Shiloh Road in Plano to Terminal B in DFW Airport, and UTD will be one of ten stops along the way. The Silver line will connect the University to seven North Texas cities and four other light rail lines.
