UT Dallas DART Station Tour

The DART [Dallas Area Rapid Transit] Silver Line project has reached a stage where the new trains are making test runs across sections of completed track even as construction work continues at individual stations. On October 30, one of these trains stopped in at the future UTD station just north of Northside at UT Dallas so University leadership, members of the North Texas Transit Coalition, officials from surrounding cities and Comets for Better Transit could tour both the station and train. When completed, the Silver Line will run 26 miles from Shiloh Road in Plano to Terminal B in DFW Airport, crossing seven North Texas cities and connecting to four other light rail lines. This addition to DART’s transit offerings is expected to begin service in late 2025 or early 2026.

The mission of the Office of Facilities & Economic Development is to support the growth and success of UT Dallas. Service is not what we do! Service is who we are!
