To say The University of Texas at Dallas has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years is an understatement.
As our student, faculty, and staff populations continue to increase, it is the responsibility of the Office of Facilities & Economic Development and its departments to scale our University’s operations, infrastructure and services to support the needs of our campus community and reach our collective goal of becoming a major research university.
Our team, including Auxiliary Services, Economic Development, Facilities Management and Sustainability, plays a key role in helping UT Dallas achieve its long-term goals.
Since 2007, we have added more than 15 million square feet in new or renovated infrastructure to the campus and more than $2 billion in development, and we are continuing to grow. This is an extraordinary place, and we are very cognizant that we are creating a 21st century campus — one that is safe, welcoming and flexible for the future.
We understand that part of attracting and retaining the best and the brightest students and employees comes from helping to create strong infrastructure, a caring and inclusive culture and an energizing and service-oriented environment where people feel they can grow and make an impact. The Office of Facilities & Economic Development is committed to leading these and other initiatives to help further advance our University.
This is an exciting time to be a part of the UT Dallas community.
